Mobile App Design Process

Mobile App Design Process is complex.

There are three kind of Customer normally that we came across enquiries .Though Mobile APP development is growing at  staggering rate. Projected to be a few fold market , few years from now, but the adoption rate among local SME are still very low in Singapore

Type 1 

The First Timer customer , who plan to integrate new technology in their business.

Type 2

Budget conscious customer, in their mind set , they think that technology should be free.

Type 3

Skeptical Customer , who felt very curious about integrating APP. They would want to know more about the technology, but you will have a hard time to convince them to apply an APP in their business.

Education on Mobile App Design Process

Well regardless which type of customer they are, or will they purchase our services at the end of the day, we are still very passionate to share how mobile app design process work. So that we can educate and create awareness to people. Hopefully in future they might engage our services .

Step1 -Data Collection and Specification

This is the first stage , where we will sit together with the client to conduct some fact finding.

Below are a few facts that would like to find out from our prospective client.

  • Target Audience for the APP
  • Nature of the APP is it a Class Booking App , Business Info App , Restaurant App etc
  • Describe about the design , spec, Color and function for the APP
  • Which Platform the client would want to develop Android / IOS .
  • What Device to be Run On , Android  , iPhone, Tablet etc.
  • What is the Budget , the Prospective Client looking around.
  • When the Client need the App to be Delivered

Step2 -Creating a Mock Up App Design

After gathering all the Facts, specification from the Client. Our Engineer and Designer will  create a Mock Up APP Design to be presented to the Client.

The Mockup is just a very basic preview, it might or might not contain the full features. As full feature will consume man hour to develop.

Below are a few mock up design and function for client review

  • APP Layout according to Customer request
  • APP running on the hardware device which the client specified with functions.

 

Step3 -APP Layout Design Process

After the Client have agree on the Designs come out by our UI designer. The ball is pass to our Programmer and Engineers to develop the function for of the APP

Below are the checklist of work our designer will do .

  • Select Texture and Color
  • Draw UI requested by client
  • Generate the Mock UP template Design for Client Approval
  • Revision , if requested by the client.

 

Step4 -Programming and Engineering

This is the Last stage of the development process.

Below are a few Checklist our Programmer or Engineers will do

  • Verified what function needed for the APP
  • Job Distribution
  • Control philosophy meeting
  • Write Code
  • Test and Debugging

 

Step 5 -Testing by Client

This is the last stage of all development, the final product testing and verified by our Programmer or Engineers will be sent to Client . The Client will install the APP and conduct his or her testing.

 

Step 6 -Launch to APP Store

Finally , the client tested the product , agree and happy with the APP . We will launch the APP to Google Play Store or IOS APP store.
